Managing User Roles in AACG 8.6.3

Version: AACG 8.6.3

With AACG 8.6.3, you can easily set up permissions and grant access in EGRCC 8.6.3.

Creating a New Role in AACG 8.6.3:

Log in to AACG 8.6.3 using your credentials.

Go to the “Administration Management” interface from the Navigator.

In the Navigator Panel, click on “Administration Management,” then select “Manage Roles.”

To add a new role, click on “Actions” and choose “Create New” (highlighted below).

A new form will open, allowing you to input the necessary details.

Double-click each field to enter the required information (Note: Fields marked with * are mandatory). In the Access column, select “Allow” for all subsections like Data Source and Business Objects.

For the Page Navigation subsection, specify the permissions by clicking on each sub-folder, indicating whether it’s for viewing or updating.

In the Status field, choose either “Active” or “Inactive” from the drop-down list. Save the new role information.

To deactivate a role, switch the status button to “Inactive.”

Creating User Accounts and Assigning Roles in AACG 8.6.3:

Log in to AACG.

In the Navigator Panel, click on “Administration Management,” then select “Manage Users,” and click “Actions” to “Create New.”

Double-click each blue box to fill in the necessary information (Note: Fields marked with * are required).

Choose a status for the user from the drop-down list, which includes “Active,” “Inactive,” and “Locked.”

Click “Save” after successfully entering all new user information.

To deactivate a user, choose the user and change the status to “Inactive.”

Note: Passwords are case-sensitive and must contain at least eight characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (!@#$%&*).
