Before installation or after installation we should upload the catalog file for further query / data access into oracle system.
Steps to Upload Catalog File
(FYI: Refer Below Screenshots for all steps)
Step 1:
Login into your oracle system and go to Tools –> Reports and Analytics
Click the Browse Catalog File

Step 2:
Go to Shared Folders –> Custom
Click Unarchive to upload the catalog file

Step 3:
Select the attached SQL Guru catalog file (which was downloaded with exe file zip) and then click ok.

Steps to Install SQL GURU Tool:
Step 1:
Install the SQL GURU Exe file.

Steps 2:
Once Installed the software, launch the SQL GURU (it will appear on search/desktop shortcuts)
SQL GURU User Guide:
Step 1:
The login page will be displayed where you can enter the username password and click login if you are new then click Signup with button and enter the details.


Step 2:
A verification mail will be sent to the given mail once you complete your signup process.

Step 3:
Click on the link which you received on mail, it will show message like your “mail verified successfully”. It’s a mandatory process, without this you can’t get into SQL GURU tool.

Step 4:
After verification, login with your username and password in the SQL GURU tool. If you forgot your password you can click the forgot password button to sent temporary password or else you can update in your account page.
Step 5:
After Successful login Dashboard page will appear. Click on Menu Icon which is near by SQL Guru and then click SQL query.

Step 6:
For First time of your login it will show Popup Message about the catalog file upload. It will show only once after login. Click the Confirm button, it will disappear.

Step 7:
On the top right , click “+New Connection”. Connection pop up will appear where you have to enter the connection name, password, oracle username and URL and then click create connection.

Step 8:
Click the connection dropdown on the top right and you can view the created connections and you can select any connection to execute the Query( Query Execution will only be applicable for valid connections)

Step 9:
You can enter the query and click run( Run button will display active after the selection of Connection).

Step 10:
You can view the results with pagination, filter, sort options.
