Global Condition and Global Waiver – AACG 8.6.3
Creating Access Controls:
To ensure the effective creation of access controls, it’s imperative to note that each control is based on a model, and every model is reliant on entitlements. Consequently, it is essential to have at least one access model in place before initiating the creation of an access control. Multiple access models can be transformed into controls simultaneously.
It’s crucial to remember that during the creation of access models’ processing logic, names, and descriptions should remain distinct. However, other values will be identical for all simultaneously generated controls.
In summary, the creation of an Access Control mandates the presence of Access Models and Entitlements.
Creation of Access Entitlements:
To initiate the creation of access entitlements, follow these steps:
Step 1: Navigate to the “Navigator” from the Navigation Panel, then select “Control Management” from the dropdown list, and proceed to click on “Manage Access Entitlement.”

Step 2: Click on the “Actions” button and select “Add” to introduce a new entitlement.

Step 3: A new line will be visible. Double-click on each field to input the required data. (Note: Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.)

Step 4: Fill in the fields accordingly.

Step 5: Add “Access Points” to the defined entitlement. Click on the “Access Points*” button.

Step 6: Clicking on the “Access Points*” button will prompt a box to appear.

Step 7: Select the relevant functions and drag and drop the functions associated with the entitlement into the box below the “Access Points*” button.

Step 8: Once all mandatory fields are filled, and the required “Access Points” are included in the box, click on the “Save” button to preserve the new entitlement in the system.

In conclusion, the successful creation of access controls in AACG 8.6.3 requires pre-existing access models and a clear process for establishing access entitlements. The outlined steps emphasize essential data input, associating access points, and the final preservation of new entitlements within the system.
