The following instructions guide you through the steps to configure and manage data access effectively.
- Data access sets establish access privileges for one or more Ledgers or Ledger Sets.
- Navigate to ‘Setup and Maintenance.’
- In the top-right corner of the window, click the checkbox.
- Select ‘Manage implementation projects.’
- Within the ‘Manage implementation projects’ section, go to ‘FIN Implementation project.’
- Access the following path:
- ‘Financials’
- ‘Define common applications configuration for financials’
- ‘Define security for financials’
- ‘Define Data security for financials’
- ‘Manage data Access for users.’
- Click the ‘Plus (+)’ button to create data access for users.
- Choose the User name, Role, security context, and Security context value.
- Click ‘Save and close.’
- You will now be able to view the data access set created for a specific user.
- To download the access information in an XLSX file, click ‘authorize additional data access.’
- For security purposes, you will need to enter your user login password to open the XLSX file.”
